Free delivery codes in the UK

Free delivery is either a threshold on the shop’s own shipping rules or a code that removes the delivery charge. A percentage voucher often leaves postage as it is. The shop page states both.

Threshold or code

The free-shipping line names the threshold, such as free UK delivery over £75. A separate offer in the live list is a delivery deal, with its own expiry. Taking a percentage code can drop the basket under the threshold and put the charge back.

What free delivery does not cover

Furniture pallets, next-day upgrades and postcodes a grocer does not serve stay outside a free-shipping code. Travel bookings have no parcel charge, so a free-delivery label does not apply to them.

Questions

Does a discount code include free delivery?

Only when the terms say so. Otherwise the shop’s free-shipping threshold still applies to the total after the code.

Where is a shop’s delivery rule?

On the shop page, under Delivery, returns and free shipping, next to the live codes.
