When UK shops usually have a sale
The busiest UK sale windows are early January, late June, and the Black Friday week in late November. A voucher code often excludes those rails. The shop page names the pattern for that shop.
What changes in a sale week
Full-price codes are frequently switched off, or limited to products that are not already reduced. A code dated to start on Black Friday stays off the live list until that start date. Lantern Living’s scheduled code is an example: it is not shown as live yet.
Peak dates work the other way
Travel codes often skip school holidays and bank-holiday weekends, which is the opposite of a January clearance. The sale line on the shop page is the place that distinction is written.
Questions
Can I use a voucher code on sale items?
Only when the terms include the sale rail. Many codes apply to full price and say so.
Why is a future code missing from the live list?
Offers whose start date is still ahead are counted as scheduled and appear when that date arrives.
